Connie Lau was born and raised in Hong Kong. She graduated from RMIT University (co-presented with Hong Kong Art School) with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. Majoring in Painting.

She believes that every tiny thing she comes across in daily life is unique and has its value of being. With passion for capturing the nuances of everyday life, where is the source of inspiration and materials for her art practice.

Home is a sense of place and full of memories.  Home found objects are solid but they have a kind of amorphous feeling, since they are carrying our past moments, reflection of  living traces.  She interests to explore this subtle feeling.
